The final blog of my 30s…what do I say? I don’t recall my
first blog, it was probably 10 years ago in 2005. But I didn’t become an avid
blogger until sometime in 2006. I was 31, then. I had a MySpace blog with
52,000 readers…haha. It was fun for a few years.
I rarely blog anymore. I do sometimes post Facebook notes on my personal
page, formulated like a blog with photos & info, but designed for a less
public audience. Anyway, this is it! Tomorrow, I turn 40!!! My last blog of my 30s...haha!
40, it sounds officially 100% grown-up. Although I do I feel that "seasoned
reason" settling into my bones, I'm still very youthful. I embrace that. But I am also embracing life
in the slower-lane. I used to tell Jacob that maturity is like
playing a video game, once you get through a certain level, you go on to the next.
You earn it. So, I’ve earned these 40 years.
I had my childhood, teenage years, 20, & 30s. It’s time
for another level. And after all of my medical issues, all the traedy that I've lived through, I really feel good about making it this far. There were many days that I almost didn't. Each day is a gift. Let's open it up!!!
My parents looked like hippies.
Cowgirl Up!
My Grandma was so mad that I showed my butt to the whole mall.
My XENA days...oh, wow.
Move over, Belle Starr! ;)
My theatre days in college.
Behind-the-scenes of a Ray Ban commercial.
Welcome to the Jungle! (This is too much...)
I was a hillbilly. Still am.
I always loved shimmer.
PS
These are pics from my #40Yearsin40Days project on Facebook. Maybe a few others...anyway, it has been an unbridled ride! I'm ready to make my 40s the best yet!
